Elections for BOD Members

Elections for BOD members in Ivujivik, Umiujaq, Kangirsujuaq and Kangirsuk were held last week.

To summarize, here are the newly elected BOD members.

• Killiniq: Sammy Anganatuinaq acclaimed
•  Ivujivik: Charlie Paningajak
• Umiujaq: Paul Anowak
•  Kangirsujuaq: Elijah Ningiuruvik
• Kangirsuk: Etua Kauki
• Tasiujak: Willie Angnatuk acclaimed

Please note that no runoff elections will be required as all candidates obtained the majority of votes cast in their communities.
