Makivik Corporation signs Impact Benefit Agreement regarding Nunavik Nickel Project

Montreal,Quebec April 10, 2008 – Following yesterday´s press release by Canadian Royalties regarding the Nunavik Nickel Project, Makivik Corporation is pleased that along with the Naturalik Landholding Corporation of Kangiqsujuaq, Qarqalik Landholding Corporation of Salluit and the Northern Village of Puvirnituq it has entered into an Impact and Benefits Agreement with Canadian Royalties.

Makivik Corporation is happy there is an Impact Benfits Agreeement in place that ensures there will be tangible benefits derived for Inuit and Inuit businesses in Nunavik when the Nunavik Nickel Project proceeds.
